OUR WORK
We are a society that brings together car enthusiasts and enthusiastically organizes various charity events. Our passion for motoring motivates us to help the community and contribute to positive change.
1. EMERALD RIVER CAR MEET
In the first year of operation in 2022, we successfully organized the first Emerald River Car Meet in Most na Soči. The event raised funds for charity, namely €1,000, which we donated to the Tolmin VDC to support people with special needs, and to the Dolenja Trebuša PGD, which was battling a fire in the Karst at the time of the event.
2. SOCA VALLEY CAR MEET
In 2023, we wanted to upgrade the event, which we believe we succeeded in. We organized a second automotive event called the 2nd Soča Valley Car Meet at a different location. Due to the desire to increase the number of vehicles and subsequent demand, we moved the meeting to the airport in Bovec. The event was organized on July 15, 2023 and supported by the Municipality of Bovec. At that time, we decided to donate the funds collected to Mr. Danijel Komac, who has been suffering from the insidious disease of multiple sclerosis for more than 20 years. With the funds collected, we made his life easier and helped build an elevator. We donated €3,000 to Mr. Danijel Komac, and the remaining €1,000 was distributed between the Tolmin and Bovec Disaster Management Offices to provide assistance in the affected flooded areas in Slovenia.
3. SOCA VALLEY CAR MEET
We also successfully organized the third event in 2024, the 3rd Soča Valley Car Meet, which took place on July 15, 2024 at the Bovec airport. This time, we also distributed the funds collected to charity. We supported two families with children in need. We enabled one family to purchase a computer that the children need for school, and we gave another family €250 in vouchers to a bookstore so they could buy new school supplies. In addition, we transferred €250 to an elderly gentleman in a wheelchair to alleviate his health problems.
The event was once again well attended, with visitors expressing great enthusiasm for the program and our charitable initiative.
1. SOCA VALLEY TIME ATTACK
In 2024, we organized our first time trial, called the 1st Soča Valley Time Attack. The event took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Bovec municipality, where the course ran along the Soča River, all the way from the Boka Hotel to the village of Čezsoča.
The test hosted many attractive cars, with which the drivers showed their skills and the limits of their vehicles' capabilities. The competition started in the morning hours and offered a tense atmosphere and a real dose of adrenaline for everyone present.
After the speed test, all participants moved to the central part of the event - the 3rd Soča Valley Car Meet, where the awards ceremony and socializing in a relaxed automotive atmosphere followed.
4. SOCA VALLEY CAR MEET
In 2025, after a one-year break, we successfully organized the fourth event called the 4th Soča Valley Car Meet, which took place on August 23, 2025 at a new location, on the premises of the Alpacem company in Anhovo. We started the event with a panoramic drive through the beautiful Soča Valley, where participants enjoyed the drive and nature.
The main part of the event began in the afternoon – Car Meet, where visitors could view numerous attractive cars and participate in fun games, such as decibel measurements, car height measurements, and changing wheels on a car in pairs. A special novelty of the event was the drift show, which thrilled the crowd and provided a real adrenaline experience.
We concluded the event with an evening musical entertainment, which created a great atmosphere and brought everyone together. This time too, the event had a charitable aspect, as this year we donated the funds raised in the amount of €800 to a single mother.
